Yes I love dividends, but forward earnings for many are under 10x earnings and many continue to have strong international operations. Valuations have also come down considerably more than NA indices and I believe with the relative strength of many currencies (being a CDN investor) its a prudent strategy to look outside your comfort zone to other economies of the world.
