I agree with your analysis of the potential of Brazil as an agricultural superpower (it already is one) and the poor soils that they use to create such outstanding crops, but where did you get the idea that Brazilian farmers can get three soybean crops a year??  They struggle to get one, plus a &quot;safrinha&quot;, or a short corn crop planted after the beans.  

It is illegal in almost all Brazilian states to plant outside of the normal summer-planting season due to incidence of soybean rust and even seed companies struggle to find area to reproduce new seed varieties outside of the normal planting times.  

There is only one crop of soybeans per year in Brazil, and that won&#039;t change.  Bolivia is the only place I know of capable of producing two soybean crops a year, and even that is in a very small percentage of the total plantable area.
