Given what the dow did and the financial news from Paulson, I don't think it will, but that's a whole bit of new news from when this article was posted. That said I personally don't think we'll see 1000 on gold overnight. But I do expect to see it in the coming weeks. It did neither. But this afternoon it did break 900 for a short time before the rally on the dow took place at the suggestion that Paulson had for basically putting more taxpayers on the hook for the debts of others. It was interesting to watch with ExactPrice as the gold market fell as the dow took off. Still so far it's better than it was several days ago. I think you're right, that gold will see some big gains in the next few months. All these governmental bailouts frankly scare me.
