With the market the way it is today, you can’t help but look for an investment, any investment, that might react differently than everything else. These kind of investments are “non-correlated” because they move independently of the overall market. But they can be tricky to locate, and even harder to trust.

Perhaps part of the humor is that this comes at the same time as the price of gasoline went up 3 cents to another record high of an average of $3.70 a gallon. This is up 22% from this time last year! 22 percent! 22! Hahahaha!

Gold flat-lined throughout Far East trading and only showed life when London opened. Virtually all the gains in the gold price were in by the time the traders in New York showed up for work.
