In the energy market Monday, crude for May delivery hit a record intraday high of $117.76, before also closing at a record $117.48/barrel, up 79 cents. May reformulated gasoline dropped 1.02 cents, to $2.9791/gallon.
On a personal level, it was more of a food crunch than a credit crunch…
The concept of “Peak Oil” is becoming the conventional wisdom among global investors this decade. After all, it’s difficult to deny we’re reaching maximum oil production, when crude prices continue to hit new inflation-adjusted highs.
…and I know of the perfect share to take advantage of both sides.
Stocks dipped lower today (Tuesday), as investor confidence about first quarter earnings remains low.
