For the tale of the tape, the TSX Exchange fell 2.82%, while the TSX Gold Index plunged 3.5% and the TSX Venture Exchange, Canada’s largest junior exploration bourse, dropped 2.96% with the decliners beating out the advancers by a 521 to 325 margin on a robust 218 million shares traded.
