For the tale of the tape; the TSX Exchange gained 0.71%, while the TSX Gold Index added 3.8% and the TSX Venture Exchange, Canada’s largest junior exploration bourse, surged 4.37% with the advancers swamping the decliners by a 467 to 289 margin on volume of 152 million shares traded.
