The bulls continued to run during Wednesday trading on the Canadian Markets as even lofty oil inventory numbers failed to damper to jubilant mode. For the tale of the tape, the TSX Exchange climbed 0.35%, while the TSX Gold Index tacked on 0.8% and the TSX Venture Exchange, Canada’s largest junior exploration bourse, added 0.49% with the advancers beating out the decliners by a 360 to 352 margin on volume of 148 million shares traded.

For the tale of the tape, the TSX Exchange added 0.97%, while the TSX Gold Index plunged 5.3% and the TSX Venture Exchange, Canada’s largest junior exploration bourse, gave back 0.59%, with the decliners edging out the advancers by a 396 to 384 margin on volume of 253 million shares traded.

Both gold and silver rose in Sunday evening trading on the Globex [counterparty...Western Pacific Ocean]. The peak prices in Far East trading occurred around lunchtime in Hong Kong. From there, both metals drifted slightly lower…and remained there all through European trading until the Comex open in New York…then away they both went.
