		<description>I don&#039;t think I agree with Obama&#039;s position if you have characterized it fairly. However, much of the wealth of the top 5% of Americans is not a product of productiveness (they have not created all of that wealth) but having staked a claim on capital, a claim backed by government with the force of law. This capital is self-sustaining during times of growth, as long as one is not so greedy as to gamble it away on risky returns. History shows that in times of great inequality, the real and political cost of maintaining that differential of ownership becomes ever higher. Helping the average worker see a path, through hard work, towards attaining increasing rather than decreasing wealth is the only historically viable alternative to a reign of terror for defending large concentrations of capital. Our focus ought to be making sure that there are increasing numbers of jobs that pay well in America, if we wish to dispel these communist demons.</description>
